PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Madam Bas transparent.png

I am delighted to welcome you to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Phi Tau Omega Chapter’s virtual home. We are a chapter of nearly 200 diverse, energetic, and passionate women dedicated to our rich and long-standing history of serving our communities as we uphold our mission of “Service to all Mankind”.

Our chapter was chartered in Hapeville, Georgia on January 20, 2001, making Phi Tau Omega chapter the first Greek-letter organization to have been chartered in Hapeville. For the past 22 years, our dedicated members have enthusiastically served the communities of Hapeville, Union City, Fairburn and Palmetto, Georgia through community service and by awarding tens of thousands of dollars in scholarships to deserving high school and college students. Our presence and service has made these communities stronger and better as they continue to deal with the complexities of a volatile economy and the ongoing impact of a global pandemic.

We are laser focused on executing our International Program: “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service & Sisterhood”, under the esteemed leadership and direction of our International President, Danette Anthony Reed. Our program initiatives are Strengthening our Sisterhood, Empowering our Families, Building Our Economic Wealth, Enhancing Our Environment, Advocating for Social Justice and Uplifting our Local Communities. Our enduring sisterhood provides the foundation for how we deliver service to the community and how we help each other.

If you are a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, in search of a chapter, we welcome you to join us.
